Latest in our assembly of measurement tools is our own, patent pending TrunkFlex 180°, developed by Team Safety, Inc. CEO, Fred Drennan.
Quantitative measurement of trunk rotation in degrees of angle is vital to identify, evaluate and treat physical impairment or to improve sports performance that requires trunk rotation, such as golf. Most instruments currently in use are cumbersome, expensive, require a trained technician to set up and use in a clinical environment, and produce inconsistent results.
TrunkFlex 180° is durable, easy to transport to any site, and can be used by any competent person following the test protocol to produce consistent results. This makes TrunkFlex 180° the ideal instrument for health risk assessment, rehabilitation clinics, and sports performance evaluation.
Watch for TrunkFlex 180° to become the standard of measurement for trunk rotation.
This award-winning worksite fitness program is designed to be performed during the first 10 minutes of the work shift as part of a daily safety meeting. SAFE is not just another stretch routine.
The program is presented in four continually challenging phases over a one-year period to slowly introduce workers in a safe, productive, managed environment designed to achieve measurable results.
Phase 1 - Static stretches are introduced along with training on the importance of flexibility and strength in preventing injury.
Phase 2 - More dynamic stretches are introduced along with specific training for back injury prevention.
Phase 3 - Fitness Sticks are introduced to add challenge and improvement to exercises. Training focuses on preventing injuries to the upper extremiites.
Phase 4 - Fitness Cords are introduce strength and emphasize proper lifting technique. Training focuses on Diet and Exercise as part of a fitness program.
The SAFE program has been specifically designed to be implemented in the workplace. Supervisor leadership is key to program success. Employers may use Team Safety's Flipbook Training system to present daily safety messages, or incorporate their own.
