Team Safety's award-winning SAFE program is your best defense against costly MSDs.
Our Strength and Flexibility Exercises (SAFE) program address primary risk factors for musculoskeletal injuries in the workplace.

In the ten years Wiggins Lift Company, manufacturer of one of the industry's largest forklifts, has used Team Safety's SAFE program, no recordable back injuries have occurred.
This award-winning worksite fitness program is performed during the first 10 minutes of the work shift as part of a daily safety meeting, but SAFE is not just another stretch routine. The SAFE program has been specifically designed to be implemented in the workplace.
The SAFE program is implemented in four continually challenging phases over a one-year period to introducig exercises in a safe, productive, managed environment designed to achieve measurable results.
Phase 1 - Static stretches are introduced along with training on the importance of flexibility and strength in preventing injury.
Phase 2 - More dynamic stretches are introduced along with specific training for back injury prevention.
Phase 3 - Fitness Sticks are introduced to add challenge and improvement to exercises. Training focuses on preventing injuries to the upper extremiites.
Phase 4 - Fitness Cords are introduce strength and emphasize proper lifting technique. Training focuses on Diet and Exercise as part of a fitness program.
Measurement is key to motivating participation
Participants are measured in three key areas at program baseline and individuals and teams receive quarterly flexibility reports, highlighting progress and providing suggestions for continuous improvement.
The exercise becomes the forum for a daily safety meeting
Employers may use Team Safety's Flipbook Training system to present daily safety messages, or incorporate their own, daily safety messages.
This program (formerly the Back Synergy Program) can be fully implemented by Team Safety, Inc. personnel, or using a Train-the-Trainer delivery model. Measurement database with report output capability is available for Train-the-Trainer programs.
